The whole controversy between Cristine Reyes and Carlene Aguilar fired up during Filipina celebrity Cristine Reyes taping for All Star K- The One Million Videoke Challenge at Broadway Centrum last wednesday. Jenny Miller, a co-guest in the show and Carlene Aguilar's friend mentioned that Cristine would be there at the taping. Accordingly, Carlene visited the studio to give Cristine a present she personally brought from the States.

According to rumors, these were the statement's uttered by Carleen “I’m Carlene and I know you’re Cristine.” Further rumors even include Carlene dubbing "Cristine Reyes is a slut and a homewrecker."
