Mariel Rodriguez real name is Maria Erlinda Termulo.She was born on August 10, 1984. She is is a Filipino model and TV host. She used to be a host in Extra Challenge, a show in GMA-7 before transferring to rival station ABS-CBN, where she was one of three hosts of the reality show Big Brother, Pinoy Big Brother along with Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzales. She also hosted the famous WOWOWEE noon time game show.

With the sudden unexpected twist in the PBB show, Mariel became a guest housemate in Kuya or Big Brother's House with special tasks to perform.
