NMEDA is a non profit association so it does not sell anything. But they provide information especially on the right equipment, that is wheelchair etc for disabled people. One’s needs may differ from another. Hence you can’t always get the same equipment others are using. Get one that fits you. There are many NMEDA dealers so there is not a problem.

So you will know as well NMEDA and their members are required to adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. NMEDA dealers are the ones who sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications for disabled people. NMEDA has The Quality Assurance Program or QAP Dealers too. The Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry.

If your loved ones suffer from immobility issues, help them get their life back by introducing NMEDA to them. Whichever State you may be, you can always find NMEDA dealers.

Downloading Movies!

Who likes to download movies online? I do!

A friend introduced me to a movie download site. I had to register and pay a small amount. I really didn't mind at all. The amount is a life time fee and I get to download almost limitless movies. My only limit is how fast my internet broadband speed is and how much memory my computer has. But there are cds and dvds where I could quickly transfers movies I have downloaded. That's what I've been up to now, movie downloads!

I just watched some of those old movies i failed to watch. I have few movies to watch later too.

I Love Sports

What’s your favorite sports?

I only have few sports that I can say I am master or at least above average, like table tennis and bad minton. I know other supports but am still not good at them. At least with these two I could compete with confidence.

Any sports activity is not only fun but it’s healthy. It’s much easier to lose weight or to stay fit when you play a sport you like than walking in your treadmill or doing some routines every morning.

With Sports you are playing and getting fit, shedding off the excess pounds or taming your muscles without the pressure you get from using common exercising tools. For instance using a treadmill takes like eternity before you really sweat. It’s not fun too. But doing your favorite sports is fun and you won’t notice the time. You’ll spend hours and hours playing and burning those fats and you hardly notice it.

Playing Bad Minton has a huge impact on my life, physically and emotionally. It’s such a light sports but includes a lot of movement. It helped me lose some weight and helped me emotionally. We all know that when you don’t feel good about how you look, you won’t feel good inside too. Playing Bad Minton has helped me a lot.

Plans on Getting A Skin for My Laptop

I just learned the other day that one can actually dress up his or her laptop at a small cost. You can choose from a variety of designs and colors. It's boring to see a black laptop. I'm bored with how my laptop looks so I'm actually looking for laptop skins that would suit my taste. I've got few designs in mind already. I plan to buy 3 new skins probably in colors blue, red, and yellow.

I'm excited about this one. I'm glad a friend told me about this.

How you dress is an expression of your self. How you dress shows your personality. What you wear can tell a lot about you. Fashion is a statement. Some people think that women are more vain than men, but some think the other way around. Personally, I don’t think one can generalize and say that all women are vain or that all men are vain. People differ but the point is, men or women want to look good.

Absense For A Few Days

If you notice I have failed to update this blog for a while. Here's the reason. One is that I had a short vacation again. Second, some friends came over to the house and stayed there for a few days. Third, my internet connection was very slow. Those are basically the reason why I wasn't visible online for a couple of days.

My internet connection is now fine. Still slow but a lot better than before. So yes i'm starting to blog again. Till next post..

Iphone Continues to Be My Dream Phone

Iphone continues to be my dream phone. I love gadgets, no doubt. Everything and anything electronic from phones, mp3 players, mp4, digital cameras, laptops, computer, portable dvds, etc.

I'm blogging about this because according to my sister her boyfriend just got himself an iPhone. Of course the good news brought an envy on my part. Yes i feel so envious that someone get to own an iphone while I continue to dream of that day when I too can buy one for myself. Aahh! Sigh!

No Medals for Filipinos in the Olympics

A sad news for everyone. The Olympics has ended and there is not any medal that the Philippine Team has obtained. The Philippine Team failed to get a gold medal, silver medal, nor a bronze medal. The 15 delegates to the Olympics did their best but their best wasn't that good enough. But at least the Philippines know that their athletes gave their best. The Philippines will wait for the next Olympic Games and will continue to dream and hope for an Olympic Medal.

Mary Antoinette Rivero Defeated in First Fight In Olympics

Bad News!

Mary Antoinette Rivero lost in her first Olympic match in Beijing against Saric of Croatia. Rivero has no chance for the gold nor silver as a result of her defeat. However she still has a chance to get the bronze medal if Saric lands as one of the finalists in the women's welterweight competition.

Now, Filipinos must wish that Saric becomes a finalist in the women's welterweight competition for a chance of bronze medal for Filipino athlete Mary Antoinette Rivero.

It's day 5 in the Beijing Olympics and the Philippines still has no medal. Not even a bronze medal. Few athletes have not made it. There some Filipino athletes that are yet to compete in the different sports or events in the Beijing Olympic Games. I hope we can get a medal in the coming events. A Gold Medal is hoped for. But a silver or bronze would do if getting gold is just too tough to accomplish. Let's support Filipino athletes in our prayers.

If I Were a Vegetable

Most kids don't like vegetables especially the green leafy ones. I think most kids are really like that. In fact remembering my younger years, I'm no different. I don't like vegetables too. Presently I am still picky when it comes to vegetables. There are certain vegetables that I don't like. But I asked myself, what If I were a vegetable? What kind of vegetable would I be? That' not a tough question. I already have an answer even before when I was still a youngster. I want to be a squash. Squash because it's delicious. I think most kids like eating squash. There are plenty of ways to cook it too. If I were a vegetable squash, I'm sure kids will love me.

Anyway, how exactly do you convince kids to eat vegetables? This one is tough. But you can incorporate veges to other food or drinks that kids love without them noticing that there's vegetables in what they're eating. That's a clever idea. Or you can let your kids watch movies or videos or cartoons on vegetables.
